On inspecting the venue, the police discovered substantial amounts of money, playing cards, and poker chips on the tables, with several individuals and women engrossed in card games.
Upon police entry, attendees attempted to flee; however, security measures were quickly enforced, restricting exit and entry points. Those involved were subsequently identified and interrogated, revealing details of the event’s organisation and implicating Krishna Kumar as the orchestrator of this illicit gathering. The cumulative amount of money on the tables was ₹2,10,000, and the police seized 2,511 poker chips and 12 new decks of cards among other items.
